Evi & Jo: We’re best friends, cat moms, and the creative duo behind Evi & Jo Photography. Evi’s background in Documentary Cinema and Jo’s passion for photography brought us together—first as friends, and then as partners. Our first project was shooting a close friend’s wedding as a gift, and we realized how amazing it was to work together. That’s when we decided to take things to the next level professionally.
Evi & Jo: Our style is observational, intimate, and sensitive. We’re all about capturing real feelings, small gestures, passionate looks, surprising dance moves, and people madly in love. We love blending reality and sensuality in our work.
Evi & Jo: John Lennon and Yoko Ono’s rock-and-roll wedding, hands down! We love free-spirited weddings that feel more like music festivals, where no one wears formal clothes. Boho weddings all the way!
Evi & Jo: Sandon Hall in the UK was a real adventure. It’s an enormous medieval castle, and the weather that day was incredibly windy and rainy. The outdoor ceremony required us to walk long distances between venues while everything was happening at lightning speed. It taught us how to work in extreme conditions and still deliver beautiful photos.
Evi & Jo: That’s a tough one! We love Pyrgos Melissourgou in Athens, Villa Delenia in Euboea, and of course, any venue in Santorini. Greece is truly a photographer’s dream—there’s magic everywhere.
Evi & Jo: Definitely overly posed family photos. We much prefer capturing the genuine moments when families gather to congratulate the couple.
Evi & Jo: Still life! Empty plates, unfinished drinks, cakes, and tables with signs of life. These little details tell a story too.
Evi & Jo: Sunset, aka magic hour, is the one special moment of the day that makes every photo whimsical and enchanting. It’s unbeatable.
vi & Jo: We absolutely love the first look moment, whether it’s private or happens as the bride walks down the aisle. The groom’s reaction is always unique, raw, and emotional. It’s a joy to capture.
Evi & Jo: It’s all about connection. We spend hours talking to our couples, getting to know them, and making them comfortable with us and our cameras. We also use questionnaires to learn as much as we can about their personalities. This helps us bring out their real essence in the photos.
Evi & Jo: Amazing! The team is inspiring, gentle, and amusing. They’re true professionals, and we think we’re a perfect match!
