From My Kitchen to Yours: Creating Memorable Menus for Corporate Events

Our CEO, Anat—a chef turned wedding planner—shares how she blends her Jerusalem roots with the best of Greek flavors to create menus that’ll wow your guests. Get ready to serve up something unforgettable at your next corporate event!

Crafting menus for corporate events in Greece has been a journey of merging my culinary heritage with the rich flavors and traditions of Greek cuisine. My roots are in Jerusalem, a city that’s a melting pot of cultures and flavors, where I first honed my skills as a chef and ran a restaurant specializing in Greek small dishes. This background has profoundly shaped my approach to menu creation, infusing it with a deep appreciation for fresh, local ingredients and a flair for combining traditional recipes with modern dietary trends.

Here’s how I bring this experience to curate exceptional food menus for your events in Greece:

Adapting to the Event's Atmosphere

Each event type demands a specific energy from its menu. For high-energy conferences, I lean towards crafting dishes that are light and invigorating, ensuring that attendees remain focused and energized. Think of starting the day with a refreshing Greek salad, elevated with the freshest local ingredients from the Greek countryside. Evening gala events, on the other hand, allow for more elaborate dishes that celebrate Greek culinary heritage, such as a modern twist on the classic Moussaka, keeping the essence of Greece while ensuring inclusivity and modernity in every bite.

Embracing Seasonal and Local Produce

Greece’s diverse climate and fertile lands offer an abundance of seasonal produce that inspires my menu creations. Incorporating local ingredients not only supports Greek farmers but also guarantees that each dish bursts with flavor and authenticity. A favorite example is our seafood dishes, like grilled octopus served with a side of fava, which highlight the freshness of the Aegean Sea’s bounty paired with locally-grown legumes.

Energizing and Nutritious Options

Understanding the importance of keeping guests both satisfied and alert, especially during more demanding events, I prioritize dishes that are balanced and nutritious. A seafood risotto with saffron and asparagus, for example, provides a perfect blend of proteins, carbohydrates, and essential nutrients, ensuring attendees feel energized without the heaviness of overly rich foods.

Catering to All Dietary Preferences

Drawing on my experience from Jerusalem, where dietary preferences are as diverse as its people, I ensure our menus in Greece are inclusive of all dietary needs. Whether it’s vegan, gluten-free, or any other requirement, dishes like our vegan spanakopita, made with dairy-free ‘feta’ and crisp, golden phyllo, ensure that no one misses out on experiencing the joy of Greek cuisine.

Interactive Dining Experiences

To make dining an integral and memorable part of the event, I love to incorporate interactive elements into the menu. This might involve live cooking stations where guests can watch as their dish is prepared, offering a taste of modern Greek gastronomy up close. For instance, preparing a traditional Greek fish dish with a contemporary twist right before the guests, not only delights the senses but also connects them more deeply to the culinary experience.

My journey from Jerusalem to the heart of Greece has taught me that food is more than nourishment—it’s an expression of culture, history, and community. As I design menus for your corporate events, my goal is to weave together the best of Greek culinary traditions with a touch of modernity and inclusiveness, ensuring every meal is a celebration of Greek hospitality and the joy of shared experiences.
